The World No. 1 has added another trophy to his impressive cabinet, with a fourth Rogers Cup presented by National Bank title. Novak Djokovic rallied past third-seeded Kei Nishikori of Japan 6-3, 7-5 on Sunday in Toronto.
Djokovic recorded five aces and conceded no double faults in his fifth-career Rogers Cup final. The Serbian star won 81% of his first serve. The match took just over 80-minutes to complete.

The Centre Court showdown included a hard-fought second set, which saw Nishikori break back to even the score at 3-3, Djokovic ultimately prevailed. He responded with a break for 6-5, to serve for the match. The tournament’s top seed managed to make good on his third match point to become the 2016 Rogers Cup champion and earn his seventh title of the season.
