World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is on the hunt for his fourth Rogers Cup presented by National Bank title, and standing in his way on quarter-final Friday is Czech Tomas Berdych.
Berdych has advanced via two three-set matches this week, while Djokovic hasn’t lost a set – but he was tested by Gilles Muller of Luxembourg in the second round. The two athletes are VERY familiar foes, having played a remarkable 26 times before. Berdych will have to find some way to overcome his past results against the 12-time Grand Slam champion if he is to post the victory – he’s only beaten Djokovic twice.
